Shortbread Cookies
Shortbread Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 tbsp. cream cornstarch, 1/2 c. confectioners sugar and 1 c. butter (no substitutes), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Sift together flour, cornstarch and sugar.
Cream in butter and mix as you would for pie crust.
When well mixed, put in an ungreased square pan and pat in evenly.
Then pick the entire surface with a fork, as you would a pie shell.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool.
Cut into squares and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Do not spare the sugar!
