Shortbread Cookies
Shortbread Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter (not margarine), softened, 4 c. plain flour, 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix butter and sugar.
Add flour and soda.
Form into 2 logs. If too soft to work with, put in refrigerator for awhile.
(You can mix chopped nuts, if desired.)
Chill well before slicing about 1/3-inch thick. Bake at 350Β° until slightly brown on ungreased cookie sheet. Do not overcook.
