Shortbread
Shortbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 3/4 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 c. soft margarine and 1 egg yolk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix dry ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients.
Flour hands and mix until it forms a ball; divide in half.
Grease and flour 2 pie pans or square pans.
Press dough into pans to cover just the bottom.
Prick with a fork all over.
Bake at 375Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
Watch carefully.
Cut into pieces and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
