Short Cut Lasagna
Short Cut Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 (12 oz.) can whole tomatoes, 2 envelopes spaghetti mix, 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce and 2 (12 oz.) cans spicy v-8 juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cook meat, breaking apart.
In a large saucepan mix together tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti mix and V-8 juice.
Bring this mixture to a boil, then add meat and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with oil and add a layer of the meat sauce into the dish.
Add a layer of uncooked noodles, cottage cheese and mozzarella.
Repeat this until ingredients are used, ending with meat sauce.
Cover with foil; set baking dish into jelly roll pan and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Remove and let cool for 15 minutes.
