Shoo-Fly Pie
Shoo-Fly Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 2/3 c. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. (slightly rounded) shortening, 1 c. king syrup and 1 egg, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Heat oven to 350°. Make crumbs of first 3 ingredients.
Save 1/2 cup for top of pie.
Mix all ingredients together, including liquids, crumbs, etc.
Put the 1/2 cup of crumbs on top.
Bake at 350° less than 1 hour.
Test center after 45 minutes...trial and error.
Center should be "set" when done.
