Shirley's Jellied Lime Salad
Shirley'S Jellied Lime Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. marshmallows (16 large), 1 c. milk, 1 pkg. lime jello, 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese and 1 (no. 2) can crushed pineapple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Melt marshmallows in milk over double boiler.
Pour mixture over jello and stir until dissolved.
Stir in cream cheese until well blended.
Add undrained pineapple.
Let cool.
Blend in whipped cream and mayonnaise.
Turn into greased 2-quart ring mold and chill until firm.
Serves approximately 12.
Can be made day before.
Can add nuts for variety.
