Shirley's Devil's Food Cake
Shirley'S Devil'S Food Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour, 3/4 c. hershey's cocoa, 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Grease and flour two 9-inch layer cake pans or one 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Combine dry ingredients mixing bowl. Add milk, shortening, eggs and vanilla.
Blend ingredients at low speed for 3 minutes.
At 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes for layers and
35 to 40 minutes for the larger cake pan or use cake tester method.
10 minutes.
Then remove from pans completely.
Frost with Mocha Cream Frosting or chocolate frosting.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
