Shepherd's Pie

Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 tsp. dried onion, 2 to 3 c. mashed potatoes (leftover or instant made by directions), milk (about 1/2 c. extra milk to desired consistency) and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown ground beef and onion.
Drain fat.
Add mashed potatoes and milk; small amount until desired consistency.
Spread in an 8 x 8 or round Pyrex.
Place slices of Velveeta cheese on top and bake in 350Β° oven until cheese browns, about 15 to 20 minutes.
