Sheath Cake
Sheath Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 1 stick oleo, 1/2 c. crisco and 4 tbsp. cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix sugar and flour in a bowl and set aside.
Put on stove to boil: oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water.
After this comes to a boil, add it to the flour and sugar mixture.
Mix well.
Then add: buttermilk, soda, beaten eggs, vanilla and cinnamon; mix well. Bake at 400Β° until done, 30 minutes.
