Sharp Cheddar Muffins
Sharp Cheddar Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. unbleached white flour, 1/2 c. cornmeal, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 3/4 tsp. sea salt and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 425Β°.
Grease 12 muffin cups.
Mix flour, red pepper, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
Beat egg, milk and butter separately and stir into dry ingredients only until just moistened.
Lightly stir and fold in 1 cup of the cheese.
Spoon into muffin cups and top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
Bake 14 to 16 minutes until golden brown.
Serve piping hot.
