Shanghai Beef
Shanghai Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. round steak, cut in strips, 2 tbsp. oil, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 1/2 c. beef broth and 1 can water chestnuts, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Saute beef in oil.
Add cornstarch and stir in broth, water chestnuts, green pepper and onion. Add soy sauce and pepper. Bring to a full boil.
