Shaker Lemon Pie
Shaker Lemon Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 2 large lemons, 4 eggs, well beaten, 2 c. sugar and pie dough for double crust pie, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Slice lemons very thin with rind on.
Mix with sugar and let stand overnight.
Blend occasionally.
Add eggs to lemon mixture and mix.
Put in shell, arranging slices evenly.
Cover with top crust.
Cut several slits near center.
Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 375°.
Bake for 20 minutes more or until knife comes out clean.
Cool before serving.
