Shakedown Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box cake mix, any flavor, 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed, 1/2 c. oil, 2 tbsp. water and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine ingredients, except powdered sugar, and mix to blend. Spread in 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 10 minutes, then shake down.
Bake 10 more minutes; shake down.
Bake 10 more minutes; shake again.
Bake 5 minutes more.
Remove from oven. Cool and cut as brownies.
May sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
