Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
Blend in melted chocolate.
I use 18 heaping teaspoonfuls cocoa mixed with 6 tablespoons vegetable oil.
Pour batter into 3 (8-inch) layer pans.
Bake in a moderate oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
This is a good moist cake.
