Seven Layer Salad
Seven Layer Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with lettuce, celery, green pepper, red onion and frozen peas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Fill a salad bowl half full with torn lettuce leaves. Chop some celery and put a layer on top of lettuce. Next put a layer of chopped green pepper. Slice and separate the red onion into rings and put on a layer of onion rings. Cook some frozen peas till they are just barely tender (about 4 minutes). Drain and add peas as next layer. Next add a layer of cauliflower florets. Now spread a layer of mayonnaise. Be sure to spread the mayo and seal it to the edges of bowl. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp of sugar over the mayo. Sprinkle parmesan cheese
And crumbled bacon on top. cover and chill overnight.
