Seven-Layer Casserole
Seven-Layer Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. uncooked real rice, 12 oz. can whole kernel corn, 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce, 1/2 c. finely chopped onion and 1 lb. browned ground beef, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Layer ingredients in a 3-quart baking dish in this order: rice, corn and its liquid, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, 1 can tomato sauce, 1/2 cup water, onion, ground beef, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, 1 can tomato sauce and 1/4 cup water. Cover with bacon.
Cover casserole and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour. Uncover and continue to bake for 10 to 20 minutes or until the bacon is crisp.
