Seven Layer Casserole
Seven Layer Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. uncooked rice, 1 c. whole kernel corn, 1 (no. 303) can stewed tomatoes, 1/2 c. water and 1/2 c. onion, finely chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Place uncooked rice in a buttered 2-quart casserole.
Add a layer of corn, half the tomatoes and half the water, onions, green pepper and uncooked beef.
Salt and pepper each layer.
Pour remaining tomatoes and water over ingredients.
Season to taste. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350Β°.
Remove cover and bake 30 minutes longer.
