Second Night Steak
Second Night Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with leftover steak or roast, chipped (about 2 c.), 1 medium onion, diced, 2 envelopes gravy mix, 1 medium can mushrooms, drained and 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Brown onions in butter.
Add mushrooms and chipped meat. Sprinkle gravy mix over your meat and add water.
Stir well.
(You can make your own gravy, if you prefer.)
Bring to a boil and reduce to lowest heat.
Simmer about 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve over rice.
