Sea Island Bars
Sea Island Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. packed brown sugar, 2 tbsp. water and 1 c. sifted self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease a 9-inch square baking pan; set aside.
Melt butter.
Add sugars and water; blend well.
Stir in flour.
Add egg and vanilla; blend thoroughly.
Add nuts, coconut and chocolate chips; blend well.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 30 minutes.
Cool in pan.
Cut into bars.
Makes 16 bars.
