Scrapple
Scrapple is an easy dinner. Made with 8 c. ham (i buy ham with bone in), 5 qt. ham broth, 6 c. meal and 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook ham in pressure cooker.
Take ham from bone.
Take scissors and cut ham in 1/2 to 1-inch pieces.
Keep 5 quarts broth on heat, in large pan.
Mix meal and flour together and add to broth until thick, very stiff and hard to stir.
Turn heat off and continue to stir.
Put in bread pans and cool.
Cut in 1/4-inch slices.
Fry in oil until brown.
Serve with eggs or syrup.
