Scottish Shortbread
Scottish Shortbread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 stick butter, 1/4 c. sugar, pinch of salt and 2 to 3 tsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl; work in butter until breadcrumb consistency.
Add only enough water to hold together. Turn onto floured pastry board; shape into hands.
Roll out and place on cookie sheet; mark lightly.
Bake in a preheated 300Β° oven for 1 hour or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and cool on rack.
