Scotcharoos
Scotcharoos is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. corn syrup, 1 c. peanut butter, 6 c. rice krispies and 1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine sugar and syrup in 3-quart saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture begins to bubble.
Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and mix well.
Add Rice Krispies and stir until well blended.
Press mixture in well-buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together, stirring until well blended over very low heat.
Spread evenly over Rice Krispies.
