Mix thoroughly the butter and sugar.
Flour. Mix well with hands.
Separate and coloring, if desired. Chill dough.
Roll out and cut into desired shapes.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
(The tops do not brown during baking nor does the shape of the cookies change.) Bake at 300Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
