Scotch Shortbread
Scotch Shortbread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter, softened, 1 c. granulated sugar, 4 c. all-purpose flour and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine butter, sugar and about half the flour until mixed. Add the rest of flour and vanilla.
Work with hands until smooth. Chill.
Flatten dough to cover a 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan. Press edges with fork.
Prick with fork here and there.
Bake in a 300Β° oven for about 45 to 55 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
Cut into squares while still warm.
