Scotch Cookies
Scotch Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 pt. granulated sugar, 1 1/2 c. lard or butter, 1/2 c. molasses, 1 1/2 tsp. soda dissolved in a little warm water and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Thoroughly combine sugar and butter.
Add molasses and eggs. Combine dry ingredients and add gradually to butter mixture.
Roll out on lightly floured board, and cut with large cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and brush with topping.
