Scotch Chocolate Cake
Scotch Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour (all-purpose), 1 stick oleo, 4 tbsp. cocoa, 1/2 c. buttermilk and 1 tsp. soda, mixed in buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix flour and sugar in bowl.
Bring to a boil the oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water. (Bring to rapid boil; stir all the time.) Pour this in the flour and sugar mixture.
Add remaining ingredients and beat.
Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan 30 minutes at 400Β°.
