Schawm Tortes
Schawm Tortes is an easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites, 1/2 c. sugar, pinch of salt, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Beat egg whites stiff.
Add sugar and salt.
Fold in vanilla and pecans.
Put brown paper on cookie sheet.
Drop by spoonful.
Bake at 275Β° for 45 minutes.
Leave in oven until cool (may leave overnight).
Makes approximately 5 dozen.
