Scalloped Onions

Peel and dice onions.
Put in heavy pan with margarine.
Cook until onions are tender, about 10 minutes.
Add flour, salt, pepper, nutmeg and broth.
Cook until onions are a thickened sauce, approximately 5 minutes.
Pour into shallow casserole.
Add bread crumbs.
Layer with Swiss cheese and sprinkle Parmesan over this.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
