Sawdust Salad
Sawdust Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box orange jello, 1 box lemon jello, 1 1/2 c. hot water, 2 c. cold water and 1 (no. 2) can chunk or crushed pineapple, drained and save juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Stir hot water with jello until dissolved; add cold water and let set until jello begins to congeal.
Mix pineapple, bananas and marshmallows with jello; let set well.
Cook together pineapple juice, sugar, flour and egg.
Cook until thick; let cool.
Spread over jello mixture after it has set.
