Savory Beef Stew
Savory Beef Stew is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. beef cubes, 3 c. water, flour, oil and 3 carrots, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Roll beef cubes in flour and brown in small amount of oil. May cook in electric skillet.
Add water (2 cups only).
Add seasonings to taste.
Cook over low heat (200° to 225°) in electric skillet until tender.
Add carrots, potatoes, onions and 1 cup of water, if needed.
Cook over medium heat until vegetables are done, approximately 1 hour.
Serves 6.
