Sausages, Peppers, Mushrooms is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. italian sausages, 1 lb. peppers, cut in strips, 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced, 3 large onions, cut in pieces and 1 small can hunt's tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Fork sausages and put in pan in oven at 350Β°.
Bake until brown and almost done.
Remove most of fat.
Put peppers, onions and mushrooms in pan and add salt and pepper to taste.
Add sausages which have been cut into pieces.
Mix together and add tomato sauce plus 1 can of water.
Mix well.
Cook about 1/2 hour until tender. Good over rice or just as a sandwich.
