Sausage Skillet Supper
Sausage Skillet Supper is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into chunks or 1 (1 lb.) pkg. little smokies, 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup, 3/4 c. water, 1 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen english peas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine the sausage, rice, soup, water and butter in a large skillet on medium heat.
Cover and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in peas and mushrooms.
Simmer, covered, for approximately 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked.
Sprinkle with cheese; simmer, covered, until the cheese is melted.
Yields 4 servings.
