Sausage Pinwheels
Sausage Pinwheels is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. corn meal and 1 lb. hot or mild purnell's sausage, uncooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Use any favorite biscuit recipe, adding cornmeal to the dry ingredients.
Knead lightly and roll out to 1/8 inch thickness. Spread sausage evenly on dough.
Roll up like a jelly roll about 2 inches in diameter and wrap in wax paper or aluminum foil until chilled.
Slice about 1/4 inch thick and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 450Β° until golden brown.
