Sausage Macaroni Skillet
Sausage Macaroni Skillet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. medium shell macaroni, 1 lb. bulk italian sausage, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper, 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up and 1 (10 oz.) can pizza sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cook macaroni as package directs; set aside.
In a skillet cook sausage and green pepper until sausage is browned and pepper is tender; stir occasionally to break sausage into bits.
Drain. Stir in tomatoes, pizza sauce and salt.
Bring to boil.
Stir in zucchini.
Cover and cook 10 minutes or until zucchini is tender. Stir in macaroni.
Cook uncovered for 5 minutes more.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
