Sausage-Cornbread Bake
Sausage-Cornbread Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage, 1 large onion, chopped, 2 eggs, lightly beaten, 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal and 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 425Β°.
Grease a 10-inch skillet or 2-quart baking dish; set aside.
Brown sausage and onion in medium skillet; drain well.
Combine eggs, corn meal, corn, milk and oil. Pour half of corn meal mixture into prepared dish.
Sprinkle with sausage mixture and cheese.
Pour remaining batter over top.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
Let cool 10 minutes.
