Sausage Corn Bread Wheel
Sausage Corn Bread Wheel is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage links, 1 c. yellow corn meal, 2 c. sifted flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 4 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Brown links in pan over low heat.
Drain off drippings. Arrange in pinwheel on bottom of round pan.
Sift together dry ingredients into medium sized bowl.
Add egg, milk and drippings. Beat until smooth, about 1 minute.
Do not overbeat.
Pour over sausage links.
Bake at 425Β° for 25 minutes.
Invert on platter. Garnish with parsley and apple slices if desired.
Serve with sausage gravy.
