Sausage Casserole
Sausage Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 1 roll sausage (uncooked; hot or mild), 1 c. rice (uncooked), 1 c. total of bell pepper, onion and celery, chopped, 1 envelope dry chicken soup mix and 4 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Brown sausage.
Saute onion, bell pepper and celery.
Mix dry soup with boiling water.
Place uncooked rice in bottom of casserole dish.
Add onion, bell pepper, celery and sausage.
Stir with fork.
Pour soup over all and stir again.
Cover and bake at 375Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
(Can be frozen.)
