Sausage Casserole
Sausage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. sausage (link), 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1 c. minced onion, 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper and 1/4 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cut sausage into 1/4-inch pieces.
Add vegetables, salt and pepper to oil in a heavy saucepan; saute.
Drain.
Add consomme and rice.
Place ingredients in a greased 4-quart shallow baking dish. Pour in hot water and stir well.
Cover and bake for 45 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Remove cover.
Add almonds and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Serves 8 to 10.
