Sausage Casserole 1
Sausage Casserole 1 is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage, cook and drain, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 1/2 c. diced celery, 2 3/4 c. boiling water and 1 envelope dry chicken noodle soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Brown sausage and drain well.
Saute onion and celery.
Simmer rice in water for 15 minutes.
Add soup mix and simmer 15 minutes, until tender.
Mix all together, put into greased 2-quart casserole.
Top with crumbs or almonds.
(I put in 2 dishes and freeze one.)
Bake at 375Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
