Sausage Cake
Sausage Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. real lean pork sausage, 3 -1/2 c. flour, 3 c. brown sugar, 1 tsp. cloves and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine sugar, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, raisins, pecans, hot coffee, cherries and juice.
Mix flour with sausage.
Combine with above ingredients. Grease and flour pan.
Line with wax paper, spoon cake batter evenly.
Bake at 250 degrees for about 1-1/2 hours (check with toothpick).
