Sausage Breakfast Casserole
Sausage Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. croutons (1 box), 1 lb. pork sausage, 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded longhorn cheese, 6 eggs, beaten and 2 c. half and half (2% milk can be used), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Place croutons in greased 13 x 9 x 2 casserole.
Cook sausage until brown, crumble and drain well.
Spoon over croutons.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Combine eggs, milk or cream and salt.
Pour over cheese.
Cover and chill overnight.
Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
Bake at 350Β° uncovered for 45 minutes or until set.
