Sausage-Bean Casserole
Sausage-Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 oz. frozen lima beans, 3 (19 oz.) baked beans, 3 (15 oz.) kidney beans, 1 lb. italian link sausage and 1/2 lb. smoked ham (cut into 1/2-inch cubes), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 400Β°.
Cook lima beans as directed on package; drain.
Turn into ungreased 4 1/2 quart casserole.
Add baked beans and kidney beans.
In covered skillet, simmer sausages in small amount of water 5 minutes.
Drain liquid from skillet; pan fry sausages until brown on all sides.
Cut each sausage into 2 or 3 pieces; add with ham to beans.
Stir together remaining ingredients; pour over casserole.
Gently mix all ingredients. Bake uncovered 1 hour.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
