Sauerkraut
Sauerkraut is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter or margarine, 6 oz. lean pork, cubed or canadian bacon, 2 big onions, diced, 1 lb. sauerkraut and 2 sour apples, cubed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Saute diced onions in butter until lightly browned.
Add cubed pork, then sauerkraut and top with cubed apples.
Add a little water and simmer for 1/2 hour.
Serve with mashed potatoes and pork or sausage.
