Sara's Punch Bowl Cake
Sara'S Punch Bowl Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. crushed pineapple, partially drained, 4 c. frozen strawberries, thawed (juice and all), 6 to 8 bananas, 1 c. nuts, chopped and 1 large box instant vanilla pudding, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix cake, following directions on box.
Bake in 2 (9-inch) pans.
When cool, cut each layer in two, making four layers.
Mix in the following order in a large punch bowl: One layer of cake (crumbled), sliced bananas, 1 cup pineapple and 1 cup strawberries.
Repeat, using another layer of cake.
Once 2 layers are done, sprinkle with 1/2 of pudding mixture and 1/2 of Cool Whip.
Repeat, using the other 2 layers of cake.
Top with rest of pudding mixture and Cool Whip.
Put nuts (chopped) on top and cherries, if desired.
