Santa's Whiskers
Santa'S Whiskers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 1 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. milk, 1 tsp. vanilla or rum extract and 2 1/2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream margarine and sugar, blend in milk and flavoring.
Stir in flour, cherries and nuts.
Form into roll.
Roll in coconut. Wrap and chill overnight.
Slice and bake on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
