Sangria

Sangria is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 gal. dry red wine, 1/3 c. sugar, 1/3 c. brandy, 3 large oranges and 2 large lemons, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In a punch bowl, combine wine, sugar and brandy.

Cut 2 oranges into eighths and 1 lemon into fourths.

Squeeze the juice into the bowl and let the fruit and wine chill for 2 hours.

After chilling, fruit can be removed or left in half and thinly slice the remaining oranges and thinly slice the lemon.

Float them on top.

Stir in Triple Sec and just enough ice to keep it cold.

Just before serving, add club soda; stir and serve.
