In a 2-quart glass mixing bowl, cook sugar, 1 cup marshmallows, milk and butter in the microwave on High for 4 1/2 to 6 minutes until melted, stirring once during cooking
Stir; cook another 1 1/2 minutes
Stir in chocolate and vanilla until smooth
Fold in nuts and remaining marshmallows
Spread in a foil-lined pan
Size depends on how thick you want the fudge
Refrigerate until firm
