Sand Bakkels
Sand Bakkels is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (half butter), 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. almond extract and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream the shortening and sugar; add egg and almond.
Add flour to make stiff dough.
Pinch off small balls and press into center of small cookie tins; shape up sides.
Place tins on cookie sheet and bake at 375Β° for 15 minutes.
Cool before removing from tins. May be served as is or fill with favorite filling.
