Salt Water Taffy
Salt Water Taffy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 3/4 c. corn syrup, 2/3 c. water and 2 tbsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix sugar and cornstarch into a 2-quart saucepan.
Stir in the syrup, water, margarine and salt.
Heat to a hard boil; stir constantly.
Cook for 30 minutes.
Stir in vanilla and food coloring.
Just cool to handle and pull to stretch, then shape while warm.
Then wrap and serve.
