Salmonettes
Salmonettes is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (15 oz.) can pink salmon, 1 whole egg, 1 heaping tsp. baking powder and 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Drain juice from salmon and set aside.
Mix drained salmon with 1 egg.
Add flour.
Stir in flour with fork.
The mixture will be real thick.
Take 1/4 cup salmon juice and add 1 heaping teaspoonful of baking powder to the juice; beat with a fork. Mixture will foam.
Pour this into your salmon mixture and mix again with fork.
Use 2 ice tea spoons and scoop up half spoonful into deep fryer half full of hot oil.
Tidbits will float on top of hot oil and turn themselves as they cook.
They will be done in a few seconds.
